Wolfgang Werner Sauer

Wolfgang Werner Sauer (born March 4, 1944 ) is a German linguist.

Sauer was in 1979 at the University of Hannover doctorate with a thesis on language use by Nazis before the 1,933th

In 1987 he completed his habilitation. His main research interests are contemporary German, ideology-specific forms of language and dictionary analysis . Until his retirement he was a professor at the University of Hanover.
