Rolf E. Schenker

Rolf E. Schenker (* 1927 in Hamburg ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Schenker took acting lessons from 1943 and was mainly artistically active on the stages of his hometown in the following decades. He played numerous roles in the stage field of the adolescent lover and later character roles in the Ernst Deutsch Theater in the St. Pauli Theater . Further stage stations were the Altonaer Theater under Hans Fitze , the Hamburger Schauspielhaus , the Ohnsorg Theater , stages in Bremen and Wilhelmshaven as well as touring theaters. In addition, Schenker took part in 23 productions of the Karl May Festival on the open-air stage in Bad Segeberg between 1966 and 1997 .

Schenker was a rare guest on television. Here he was seen, for example, in television series such as Großstadtrevier and recordings of productions by the Ohnsorg Theater such as 1994 alongside Hilde Sicks in Nebel im Paradies .

Schenker is known to a wide audience primarily for his voice. He has appeared in numerous children's and youth radio plays on well-known labels such as Europa , PEG and Teldec with such as Die drei ??? , A case for TKKG and five friends . In five episodes of the Asterix radio play adaptation, Schenker embodied the Roman emperor Julius Caesar, succeeding Wolfgang Völz, in a free interpretation of the original with a dialectal twist.
