Wolfgang Wolter (actor)
Wolfgang Wolter (* 1947 in Wolfsburg ; † July 14, 2005 in Munich ) was a German actor .
Life
After an apprenticeship as a decorator in his hometown, he studied acting in Hamburg at the Academy of Performing Arts from 1969 to 1971. This was followed by engagements in Basel , Berlin and France. In the 1989/90 season he shone in the Hamburg theater in the basilica in the role of the homosexual prisoner Molina in the musical version of Manuel Puig's Kiss of the Spider Woman .
In the ARD series " Marienhof " from 1992 he played the teacher Wolfgang Wagner in 460 episodes . After four years he got out because he wanted to play theater in his hometown Wolfsburg again. From 1997 he built his own theater company and worked as a theater producer. Most recently he was seen with his Theater der Erde in the courtyard of the KUBIZ in Unterhaching . Wolter was seen in over 20 television productions on ZDF and ARD.
Wolter lived in Munich and died suddenly of organ failure in July 2005 after a hip operation in a clinic at the age of 58.
