The Wolmido Sports Club (Chosŏn'gŭl: 월미도 체육 단; Hanja: 月 尾 島 體育 團) is a North Korean football club from Kimchaek . The association was founded by the Ministry of Culture and Art of North Korea. The home games are played at the Kimchaek Municipal Stadium , which has a capacity of 5000 seats. The club played in the DPR Korea League in 2013 .
The association is named after the small island of Wolmido off Incheon - in memory of the actions of the allied UN troops in the course of Operation Chromite .
