Wolverine Wildcat in Michigan's Adventure ( Muskegon , Michigan , USA ) is a wooden roller coaster manufactured by Dinn Corporation , which opened in 1988 before Cedar Fair bought the park. For ten years, Wolverine Wildcat was considered the most exciting wooden roller coaster in the park. Shivering Timbers has had this reputation since 1998 . Both lanes are located in the Timbertown- themed area of the park near the Timbertown Railway Station .

Wolverine Wildcat celebrated its 20th anniversary in Michigan's Adventure in 2008. This year Shivering Timbers also turned ten and the new steel roller coaster Thunderhawk opened. Just like Shivering Timbers , Thunderhawk is in close proximity to Wolverine Wildcat .
