The Wonder Lake is a narrow, running in a north-south direction Lake in Denali National Park and Denali Borough in Alaska km² with an area of 2.63. The nearest town is Kantishna 4.8 km northwest of the lake, at the end of the road.
It is located on the national park road between the Kantishna Hills in the north and the Alaska range in the southeast, around 43 km north of Denali . The Eielson Visitor Center is 19 miles east.
South of the lake is the Wonder Lake Campground , in the northeast the Wonder Lake Ranger Station . On the east bank there is a viewpoint of Denali, which is approached by the shuttle bus.
