Wonju Parangsae FC (in German: Wonju Türkisracke FC ) is a football club from Wonju , Gangwon-do in South Korea . The club currently plays in the K5 League , the sixth highest division in South Korea.

history

founding

The club was founded on October 1st, 1989. Until the end of 2015, the club played in various amateur leagues.

Path to the K5 League (2017-2018)

In early 2016, the club joined the newly founded K7 League and immediately won the relay championship. Through the relay championship, they qualified for the newly founded K6 League . In the K6 League, the club finished the season on a good 3rd place and thus qualified for the K5 League, which was also newly founded .

Present (since 2019)

In the premiere season of the K5 League , the club competes in the highest regional league, the K5 League Gangwon-do .
