The Woodlands Stadium is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Woodlands district in northern Singapore . It is the home of the Woodlands Wellington football club in the S.League , the top division in Singapore. The stadium was inaugurated on August 5, 1989. It has seating for 4,300 spectators; 2,000 of which are on the covered grandstand. the other 2,300 seats are distributed on transportable additional grandstands. Woodlands Sport Hall is only about 200 to 300 meters from the venue ; the Woodlands Swimming Complex and Woodlands Town Park East .
