The house Word lane 1 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located west of the market in the historic Quedlinburg old town, in the northern part of the small Wordgasse, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. Wordgasse 2 , which is also listed, adjoins to the south .
History and architecture
The small two-storey half - timbered house was built in the second half of the 17th century. The roof structure of the building is from the construction time. There is a wide bevel on the threshold of the house . The beam heads are rounded.
