Work Time Fun ( WTF for short , also known as BH 2000 , Hell's Part-Time Jobs 2000 , Byte Hell 2000 (often incorrectly translated) and Baito Hell 2000 (in Japan )) is a video game developed by D3 and Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation Portable was developed. The English title is a reference to the Internet slang abbreviation What The Fuck? which expresses confusion.
WTF was released on December 22, 2005 in Japan and on October 19, 2006 in America .
Gameplay
The game features over forty mini-games in the form of crazy part-time jobs that can be obtained from the "Job Demon". The overall concept is therefore comparable to that of games like WarioWare . Fulfilling these jobs requires logical thinking, skill, good timing, or just plain luck. For example, you have to chop wood that an old lady has placed on a block of wood, and the game is lost as soon as a piece of wood is not split in time or if one of the randomly scattered animals is accidentally chopped up. Other games require, for example, the sorting of chicks into the categories "male" and "female" - dead chicks (recognizable by their halo and bluish tint) have to be sent to heaven - or pens that arrive on the assembly line must be provided with capsules. In the latter example, you can "work" as long as you like, which has a positive effect on the paycheck that the player receives after each game.
Earned money can be spent at various toy machines. At random, the player either receives smaller toys such as various series of game characters (e.g. soldiers, superheroes), pens, erasers, balls or mini-books, gadgets for the PSP (e.g. a Chinese horoscope) or else new mini-games that can in turn be used to earn additional dollars.
