Work and Box Company
The Work and Box Company is a youth welfare project founded in 2003 by Rupert Voss and Werner Makella .
The outpatient youth welfare measure reintegrates criminal, violent male youths between 16 and 21 years into society and the labor market . The participants will be rehabilitated in six to twelve months through a combined offer of:
- Boxing training for dealing with and coping with violence
- Practical experience through work in a partner workshop and in internship companies
- intensive socio-educational and therapeutic individual care.
In addition, there are elements of professional, school, social and societal orientation and qualification, sports and adventure education units and six-month follow-up care.
The goal is,
- to transform the violence of young people into a self-reliant, productive force
- to place the participants in the primary labor market (economic autonomy).
The Work and Box Company has been working in Taufkirchen near Munich since 2003 .
Carriers of the Work and Box Company is the new in nonprofit AG (Institute of hand development-oriented Experience in gration). The hand in non-profit AG aims to support the dissemination of the work and box method financially and through training.
The Work and Box Company has been one of the projects supported by the non-profit organization Ashoka Germany since 2006 .
