The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) is the world association of Frisbee sports based in Colorado Springs , USA .

membership

The WFDF is made up of 86 member associations from 84 countries. She is a member of the GAISF , IWGA and IMGA . On May 31, 2013, the WFDF received preliminary recognition from the International Olympic Committee and on August 2, 2015, full recognition. The WFDF is now a member of ARISF .

Association management

The first president of the WFDF was the Briton Charlie Mead from 1985 to 1986. Other presidents were the Americans Daniel Roddick (1987–1991), Robert Rauch (1992–1994), Bill Wright (1995–2004), the Finn Juha Jalovaara (2005–2008) and the Australian Jonathan Potts (2009–2010) . Robert Rauch has held this position since 2011.
