The World Trade Center 5 ( WTC 5 or Northeast Plaza Building ) was part of the building complex of the World Trade Center , which was destroyed on September 11, 2001 .

In contrast to the two twin towers, the building was a low building and, like the WTC, had 4 9 floors. It was mainly used as an office building; on the ground floor, like the other buildings in the World Trade Center, it was connected to the underground mall . The port authority's police office , which was primarily responsible for protecting the buildings, was located in the building. During the clean-up work at Ground Zero New York , the building was demolished due to the high damage.
