Wrath is an American progressive and thrash metal band from Chicago , Illinois that was formed in 1982.

history

The band was formed in 1982. After the release of two demos, the debut album Fit of Anger followed in 1986 , which was mainly characterized by Gary Golwitzer's characteristic vocals. 1987 followed with the next album with Nothing to Fear , on which Rick Rios could be heard instead of drummer Mike Fron. The album was produced by Ronnie Montrose . On the third album Insane Society two new members could be heard with singer Kurt Grayson and drummer Dave Sullman. Golwitzer should then join the band Stygian . The further course of the band is unknown and only in 2008 the band returned with a self-titled EP.

style

The band plays progressive, technically demanding Thrash Metal, which was formerly known as "Techno Thrash", so that the band can be compared to groups like Watchtower , Mekong Delta , Coroner and Hexenhaus .
