Wu Xiaobo

Wu Xiaobo (* 1968 in Ningbo , Zhejiang Province ) is a Chinese publisher and author of non-fiction books.

Career

In 1990 he graduated from Fudan University in Shanghai . In 2002 he became a contract author for the Bertelsmann Asia Group. In 2004 he taught as a visiting professor at Harvard Kennedy School .

In 2002 he founded the Blue Lion Publishing Publishing Group, through which he published numerous self-written books on the economic and financial world of China. One of his best-selling books is titled "The Story of Tencent". In the book he describes the history of Tencent , the largest Internet company in China and a successful game producer. The book has so far reached a circulation of half a million copies in China. He is a frequently invited speaker at events related to China's economic development.

Since 2014 he has been running the "Wu Xiaobo Channel" through his own production company called Bajiulin. This deals with current trends in the Chinese economy.
