Wudangshan Taihe Gong
The Wudangshan Taihe Gong or Taihe Temple in Wudang Shan or Temple of Supreme Harmony in the Wudang Mountains ( Chinese 武當山 太和 宮 / 武当山 太和 宫 , Pinyin Wǔdāngshān Tàihé Gōng , English Supreme Harmony Temple / Great Harmony Palace ) is a important Daoist temple in the Wudang Mountains ( Wudang Shan ) in the area of the city of Danjiangkou in the Chinese province of Hubei . It is located on the slope of Tianzhu Feng ( Chinese 天柱峰 ), the highest peak in the mountains. The temple is also known by the Chinese name Taiyue Taihe Gong ( 太岳 太和 宮 / 太岳 太和 宫 ). It was built in 1416 in the Ming Dynasty .
