Sausage crown

A sausage crown (lower German Woste-Kraune , Vuastkraeonn , strolling Wieben ) is a circular frame or a rod with hooks for suspended storage of sausage and smoked .

Sausage crowns are rarely used today. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, wooden or metal sausage crowns were used. They were hung on the ceiling of the pantry or in the chimney .
