Wuyishan
Wuyishan ( Chinese 武夷山 市 , Pinyin Wǔyíshān Shì ) is an independent city in the administrative area of the independent city of Nanping in the Chinese province of Fujian . The city has the same name as the Wuyi Mountains . Wuyishan has an area of 2,802.8 km² and about 219,800 inhabitants (end of 2003).
Administratively, Wuyishan consists of three street districts, three large parishes and four parishes. These are:
- Chong'an Street District (崇安 Straßen), seat of the city government;
- Xinfeng Street (新丰 街道);
- Road quarter Wuyi (武夷街道);
- Greater community Xingcun (星村镇);
- Greater community Xingtian (兴田镇);
- Greater community Wufu (五夫镇);
- Shangmei Township (上 梅 乡);
- Wutun municipality (吴屯乡);
- Municipality of Langu (岚 谷 乡);
- Community Yangzhuang (洋庄乡).
One of the most expensive teas in the world, Da Hong Pao tea, comes from Wuyishan .
