The Xalfa-Xudoydod complex is an ensemble of buildings in the Uzbek city ​​of Buxoro from the 18th century. It is an example of a complex of various religious buildings and structures typical of Uzbek architecture from the 18th to 19th centuries.

The complex is located to the west of the historical center of Buxoro about 400 m southwest of the Baland Mosque and about 1 km west of the Xoʻjayev house .

history

The madrasa, mosque and cleaning well of the Xalfa-Xudoydod complex were first mentioned in documents in 1797. According to oral tradition, the building is traced back to Xalfa Xudoydod, who is said to come from Urgench , but is not documented in writing. It is possible that he is identical to Sheikh Khudojberdy, who died in 1841 and is mentioned in written sources.

The complex consists of a madrasa with a courtyard surrounded by single-storey cells , a mosque , a cleaning well and a cemetery .

The mosque is located in the southwest corner of the courtyard. The flat roof is at three sides, is supported by thin decorated with carvings wooden columns and thus forms a three-sided extending around the mosque Ivan as a vestibule.
