The Xanadu Hills are a mountain range consisting of hills in the Denton Hills in East Antarctica Victoria Land . They rise up to 820 m high between the Ward Valley and the Alph River .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1994 after the fictional place Xanadu from the poem Kubla Khan by the English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772-1834).
