Xanten circle

The Xantener Kreis or Xantener Bund is an informal grouping of influential current and former members of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group , who belong to the conservative spectrum. The group, which is named after their regular, confidential meeting in the Berlin-Wilmersdorfer restaurant Xantener Eck , includes Volker Kauder , Wolfgang Bosbach , Otto Hauser , Andreas Schockenhoff , Georg Brunnhuber , Rupert Scholz (all CDU) and Johannes Singhammer (CSU) on.
