Uwe Kranenpohl

Uwe Kranenpohl (* 1966 ) is a German political scientist .

Life

After graduating from Humboldt-Gymnasium in Düsseldorf in 1985 , Kranenpohl studied political science , history and economics at the Free University of Berlin and at the University of Passau from 1986 to 1991 . In 1997 he started working for Heinrich Oberreuter with his dissertation: Mighty or powerless? Small parliamentary groups in the German Bundestag from 1949 to 1994 for Dr. phil. PhD. In 2009 he completed his habilitation at the University of Passau with the thesis Behind the veil of the advisory secret. The decision-making and decision-making process of the Federal Constitutional Court .

After completing his studies, Kranenpohl was a research assistant at the Chair of Political Science at the University of Passau from 1991 to 1996. In 1996 he became a research assistant and personal assistant to the director of the Academy for Political Education in Tutzing. In 2000 he moved back to the University of Passau, where he became a private lecturer in 2009. Since 2009 he has been Professor of Political and Administrative Sciences at the Evangelical University of Nuremberg and continues to work as a private lecturer at the University of Passau.
