Xanthe (daughter of Oceanus)

Xanthe ( Greek  Ξάνθη , actually "the blonde") is the name of an Oceanid , a daughter of the Titans Oceanus and Tethys in Greek mythology .

Xanthe was also the nickname of several goddesses, including Demeter .

The asteroid of the same name was named after Xanthe .
