Xenia Petsitis (* 1967 in Hanover ) is a German development engineer and non-fiction author .

Life

Petsitis graduated in 1990 as a graduate engineer (FH) in the field of "Technology of cosmetics and detergents" in Lemgo. From 1991 to 2000 she worked in the industry in the field of research and development of decorative cosmetics . Xenia Petsitis worked as a development engineer for more than 10 years in the research and development departments of well-known corporations. Her specialty is "decorative cosmetics". Since 2001 she has also worked as a book and trade magazine author with a focus on decorative cosmetics.

Petsitis set up the development laboratory for the entire decorative product line “NIVEA Beauté” for Beiersdorf AG in 1997 and took over the management for 2 years. In this context she was z. B. also responsible for the article in Ullmann's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry "Decorative Cosmetics" under the heading Skin Cosmetics. Various patents in the field of color cosmetics also bear her name. Among others, she worked for the Lancaster Group and Coty Inc. from New York City. Behind it are brand names of Jil Sander , Joop , Monteil, Margaret Astor or Chicogo . She has also successfully developed branded products for Ellen Betrix , Jade and Juvena . In 2002 she took over the management of application technology cosmetic pigments and fillers at Merck KGaA in Darmstadt.
