Xenia Olegovna Polikarpova

Xenija Olegovna Polikarpova ( Russian Ксения Олеговна Поликарпова , English transcription Ksenia Polikarpova ; born March 11, 1990 in Leningrad , Russian SFSR , USSR ) is a Russian badminton player . She became a citizen of Israel in May 2017 and has played for that country since then.

Career

Xenia Polikarpova won four junior titles in Russia in 2006 and 2007. In 2009 she was third at the Kharkov International . In 2009 she also won bronze at the European Junior Championships. With the Russian women's team, she finished fifth in the 2010 Uber Cup . In 2013 she won the Croatian International and the Romanian International , where she was both successful in women's doubles with Irina Chlebko . At the Polish Open 2013 and the Austrian International 2013 both finished third together, but won at the Lithuanian International .

She competed for Israel for the first time in Israel at Hatzor International 2018 .
