Xenonauts is a turn-based strategy game from the independent game developer Goldhawk Interactive , which was largely inspired by the game UFO: Enemy Unknown (1994). The player takes control of a secret organization called Xenonauts, whose goal is to prevent an invasion of the earth by aliens . The game was first released for Microsoft Windows in June 2014.
A sequel with the title Xenonauts 2 is currently being developed, which, like the first part, was financed through the Kickstarter platform.
