Cobra , (formerly Xenox ) is a transportable steel roller coaster with inversion from the manufacturer Interpark, a successor company of Pinfari. The ropeway was specially adapted for the cramped space conditions on Swiss fairgrounds and therefore has a triangular base, which is unusual for transportable roller coasters. It is the first version of the manufacturer's Wild Wind model as a portable version. The Swiss showman Andreas Bauer traveled by train from 2009 to 2012 as Xenox . The official inauguration took place on June 11, 2009 at the Nordstadt Festival in Zurich . Since 2013 the railway has been owned by Munich showman Angelo Agtsch. The railway celebrated its German premiere as Cobra at the Palm Fair in Recklinghausen on March 15, 2013.
The roller coaster has been permanently installed in the Freizeit-Land Geiselwind since 2018 .
After the chain lift, the train takes a left curve on a distance of only 200 meters to the first descent, which is followed by a sidewinder (half loop followed by half screw). After a left-hand helix, the train pulls into the final brake after another left turn. The two trains of the railway each have five carriages with space for two people in a row. According to the manufacturer, this means that the railway has a capacity of 400 passengers per hour. The system requires a triangular space of 30.3 meters × 21 meters and a power connection that supplies 150 amps at 400 volts . As Xenox , the train was themed in a futuristic way, Cobra has a jungle theme .
