Xiangcheng (Xiangyang)

The Xiangcheng District ( Chinese  襄城 区 , Pinyin Xiāngchéng Qū ) is an administrative unit in Hubei Province in central China, which belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Xiangyang . It has an area of ​​645 km² and has 491,500 inhabitants (end of 2004). It is the center and seat of the Xiangyang City Government.
