Xiao Rundcrantz

Xiao Rundcrantz (* 1966 in Changsha , Hunan ), formerly Xiao Nie , is a Sino - Swedish author and former Chinese public prosecutor .

Life

She was inducted into the Wangcheng Procuratorate at the age of 18 and served from 1984 to 1998. In 1998 she emigrated to Sweden , where in 2006 her book Red Public Prosecutor ( Röd åklagare ) was published, in which she writes about abuse of power and oppression within the Chinese legal system. The work with autobiographical features has so far been translated into Dutch, Polish and German.

She has been married to the Swede Ola Rundcrantz since 1998 .
