Wangcheng

Wangcheng ( 望 城区 , Wàngchéng Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture-level city of Changsha , the capital of the Chinese province of Hunan . The city district has an area of ​​1,361 km² and has around 700,000 inhabitants (2003). It is located on the lower reaches of the Xiang Jiang River . Its main town is the large community of Gaotangling .

The site of Changsha Tongguan - ceramic kiln is on the list of since 1988 monuments of the People's Republic of China (3-224) .

Administrative structure

At the municipality level, the municipality is made up of sixteen large municipalities and three municipalities.
