Wangcheng

Wangcheng ( 望城区 , Wàngchéng Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture-level city of Changsha , the capital of the Chinese province of Hunan . The city district has an area of 1,361 km² and has around 700,000 inhabitants (2003). It is located on the lower reaches of the Xiang Jiang River . Its main town is the large community of Gaotangling .
