Ningxiang

Ningxiang ( 宁乡 市 , Níngxiāng Shì ) is a Chinese city ​​in the prefecture -level city of Changsha , the capital of Hunan Province . The city has an area of ​​2,906 km² and has a population of around 1.29 million. Its main town is the street district of Yutan (玉 潭 街道).

The former residence of Liu Shaoqi ( 刘少奇 故居 , Liu Shaoqi guju ) and the Tanheli site ( 炭 河里 遗址 , Tanheli yizhi ) from the time of the Western Zhou Dynasty have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1988 and 2006, respectively .
