Xigangzi
Xigangzi ( Chinese 西 岗 子 镇 , Pinyin Xīgǎngzǐ Zhèn ) is a large community in the Aihui district of the district-free city of Heihe in the northeast Chinese province of Heilongjiang and is one of the traditional settlement areas of the Daur . Xigangzi has an area of 624 km² and about 15,000 inhabitants at the end of 2009 (population density 24 inh. / Km²). The seat of the municipal government is the village of Xigangzi.
Geography and economics
Xigangzi has 43 km² of grassland that is used for cattle breeding (including horses). There are also 285 km² of forest used for forestry and 68 km² of arable land on which, in addition to wheat and maize , especially soy is grown. With an average annual production of around 10,000 tons, Xigangzi is the most important soy region in Aihuis.
Administrative structure
Xigangzi is made up of ten villages. These are:
- Xigangzi Village (西 岗 子 村), seat of the municipal government;
- Caojitun Village (曹 集 屯村);
- Donggangzi Village (东岗 子 村);
- Hongxing Village (红星村);
- Kunzhan village (坤 站 村);
- Panchanggou der Daur village (盘 肠 沟 达斡尔 族 村);
- Songjitun Village (宋 集 屯村);
- Tuolimu village (托里 木村);
- Xigou der Daur village (西沟 达斡尔 族 村);
- Village Yangshutun (杨树屯村).
