Xin Ru

Xin Ru (born August 5, 1931 in Shanghai ) is a Chinese historian of philosophy .

Xin Ru deals with ancient Chinese philosophy and the history of the development of classical German philosophy. He was Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and from 1990 to 1992 an external member of the Academy of Sciences of the GDR .
