Xincheng (Hohhot)
The Xincheng District ( Chinese 新 城区 , Pinyin Xīnchéng Qū - "New Town District"; Mongolian ᠰᠢᠨᠡ ᠬᠣᠲᠠ ᠲᠣᠭᠣᠷᠢᠭ Sin-e Qota toɣoriɣ ) belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Hohhot , the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 700 km² and has a population of around 320,000.
