Wuchuan (Hohhot)
Wuchuan County ( Chinese 武川 县 , Pinyin Wǔchuān Xiàn ; Mongolian ᠦᠴᠤᠸᠠᠨ ᠰᠢᠶᠠᠨ Üčuvan siyan ) belongs to the administrative area of the district-free city of Hohhot , the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 4,885 km² and has around 170,000 inhabitants (2006). Its main town is the large community of Hoho Ereg (可 可以 力 更 镇).
The Xiaonanshan platinum - nickel - copper deposit is located in Wuchuan County and is also the type locality of the rare mineral lead amalgam .
