The district Xinglong ( Chinese  兴隆 县 , Pinyin Xīnglóng Xiàn ) is a district in the northeast of the prefecture-level city of Chengde (formerly: Jehol, Rehe) in the Chinese province of Hebei . Xinglong has an area of ​​3,116 and 3,123 km² and has a population of 320,000 (2004). Its main town is the large community Xinglong (兴隆 镇).
