Xinrong ( Chinese  新 荣 区 , Pinyin Xīnróng Qū ) is a Chinese municipality in the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Datong in the north of Shanxi province . It has an area of ​​1,006 km² and has around 110,000 inhabitants.
