Xiri , also Cape Hottentot , Gri , Grikwa , Griqua , Gry , Xirikwa or Xrikwa , is a Khoisan language spoken by the Griqua in South Africa and neighboring Namibia . It belongs to the family of the Khoe Kwadi languages . Xiri is related to the Nama language.

Xiri was formerly spoken on the coast of southern Africa from Namibia to Lesotho , but today the language is considered moribund . There are said to be around 100 speakers in Namibia and 87 in South Africa.
