Xnews is a Usenet - News Reader , the Luu Tran in Delphi was developed. Some of its properties were inspired by NewsXpress .
Xnews is an online newsreader. This means that you have to keep the internet connection up while using it, unless you have a local news server such as B. Hamster used.
Xnews offers a powerful scoring system for the automated evaluation of incoming news articles and works very quickly. In addition, its appearance (colors, fonts) and handling (keyboard shortcuts) can be largely adjusted to the needs of its user. On the other hand, it has a number of technical errors; especially missing when sending messages that z. B. umlauts contain required for this MIME -encoding, but what with additional software, such as the proxy - news server Morver can catch up.
