Xuanmiao Guan (Suzhou)
The Xuanmiao Guan ( Chinese 玄妙观 , Pinyin Xuánmiào Guān , English Mysterious Sublimity Temple / Mysterious Essence Temple ), which is also often referred to as the Secret Temple , is located in Suzhou in the Chinese province of Jiangsu . It was built in 276 and is one of the most important Taoist temples in China . The Sanqing Hall of the Temple ( Xuanmiao Guan Sanqing Dian玄妙观 三清殿 "Hall of the Three Pure") from the time of the Song Dynasty has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (2-22) since 1982 .
