Xyrion Trio
The Xyrion Trio is a piano trio that was founded in 2001 and lasted until 2015. It consisted of the three music college professors Nina Tichman ( piano ), Ida Bieler ( violin ) and Maria Kliegel ( violoncello ).
The trio released Beethoven's piano trios Nos. 5 and 6 on CD in 2005 under the Naxos label . In the following years it played other Beethoven piano trios. It has been on tour regularly in Germany and abroad.
From 2007 to 2015 the trio took over the artistic direction of the annual Andernacher Musiktage at Schloss Namedy , after which Nina Tichman became the artistic director.
