Nina Tichman

Nina Tichman (born April 27, 1949 in New York City , New York ) is an American pianist .

She studied at the Juilliard School in New York, which awarded her the Eduard Steuermann Prize for outstanding achievements, then with Alfons Kontarksy, Hans Leygraf and Wilhelm Kempff in Europe. Tichman received numerous prizes, including a. at the Busoni, Casagrande, ARD and Mendelssohn competitions. Her recording of the complete works of Claude Debussy , which she also performed cyclically in New York and in Frankfurt / Main, as well as the complete recordings of Beethoven's works for piano and violoncello with the cellist Maria Kliegel and the Beethoven piano trios with the Xyrion Trio is well known .
