Yūichirō Yamaguchi
Yūichirō Yamaguchi ( Japanese 山口 祐 一郎 , Yamaguchi Yūichirō ; born October 5, 1956 ) is a Japanese musical actor and actor.
Yamaguchi is considered to be one of the most renowned and popular singers and actors in Japanese musicals. Since 1979 he has played in a number of well-known productions, such as B. A Chorus Line and Jesus Christ Superstar . He celebrated one of his greatest successes with his portrayal of Raoul and later in the title role of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera .
He has been under contract with Tōhō since 1996 and has since played leading roles in musical productions staged at the company's theaters, as well as supporting roles in several television series for Japanese television.
