eGovernment Computing - the specialist journal for the digitization of administration and public security is a German specialist journal for information technology . It is aimed at IT and eGovernment decision-makers in the federal, state and local authorities in order to inform public institutions about digital information processing in the public sector. The first issue appeared in November 2001 for the "Moderner Staat" congress trade fair.

The publication gives an overview of current technologies and political developments around the topics of administrative digitization , eGovernment and IT security in the public sector.

eGovernment Computing is published by Vogel IT-Medien in Augsburg , a subsidiary of the Vogel Communications Group .
