Yūsuke Nakatani ( Japanese 中 谷 勇 介 , Nakatani Yūsuke ; born September 22, 1978 in Kyoto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Nakatani learned to play soccer on the school team at Nara Ikuei High School . He signed his first contract in 1997 with the Nagoya Grampus Eight . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 39 first division games. In 1999 he was loaned to league rivals Urawa Reds . In 2000 he was loaned to league rivals Kawasaki Frontale . In 2000 he reached the final of the J.League Cup . In 2001 he returned to Nagoya Grampus Eight . For the club, he completed 84 first division games. In 2006 he moved to the second division Kashiwa Reysol . At the end of the 2006 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In September 2007 he moved to the second division club Kyoto Sanga FC . At the end of the 2007 season, the club rose to the J1 League. For the club he completed 63 games. In 2011 he moved to the second division club Tokyo Verdy . For the club he completed 36 games. He then played for Khon Kaen FC . At the end of 2013, he ended his career as a football player.
