Yūzō Wada ( Japanese 和田 雄 三 , Wada Yūzō ; * May 2, 1980 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Wada learned to play football in the youth team of Shimizu S-Pulse . He signed his first contract in 1998 with Shimizu S-Pulse. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1998 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . In 1999 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club. For the club, he completed 13 first division games. In 2000 he moved to the second division club Ōita Trinita . For the club he completed 21 games. In 2003 he moved to league competitor Ventforet Kofu . At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
