Yahya Sergio Yahe Pallavicini

Yahya Sergio Yahe Pallavicini (* 1965 ) is an imam and the vice-president of Comunita Religiosa Islámica (CO.RE.IS.) , the Islamic denomination in Italy . He is chairman of the ISESCO Council for Education and Culture in the West and adviser on Islamic affairs to the Italian Minister of the Interior.

Life

He is the imam of the al-Wahid mosque in Milan , where he organizes the training of imams in Italy. His father was Abd al Wahid Pallavicini , a well-known preacher and head of the Sufi brotherhood Ahamadiyyah Idrissiyyah Shadhiliyyah in Italy.

In 2007 he was a leading authors of the open letter a common word between us and you ( A Common Word Between Us and You ), the 138 personalities of Islam sent to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere."

In 2009 he was listed in the list of 500 Most Influential Muslims by the Prince al-Walid-bin-Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University and the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center of Jordan .
