Former residence of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Malacca from 1957 to 1996. Today it houses the Governors Museum

Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Malacca is the official title of the governor of Malacca . This is the ceremonial head of state of the Malaysian state of Malacca. The salutation is Tuan Yang Terutama (TYT) ( German: Your Excellency ). The title was introduced on August 31, 1957.

The current incumbent is Mohd Khalil Yaakob .
