Yann Demange
Yann Demange (* 1977 in Paris ) is a British film director who grew up and lives in London .
Life
Demange filmed live concerts, shot music videos, commercials, short films and television series that were nominated for various awards. Until 2001 he studied film at the London College of Printing; his graduation film Joe was shown at various festivals. From 2004 to 2006 he studied directing at the National Film and Television School. He then shot television series for Channel 4 and the BBC. In 2007 he was a participant in the Berlinale Talent Campus.
His first movie '71 about a soldier in the Northern Ireland conflict was shown in the competition at the 64th Berlinale in February 2014 .
