Yao Junior Sènaya (born April 19, 1984 ) is a Togolese football player . He is a midfielder at FC Thun and in the Togolese national football team .

So far, Sènaya has only played for clubs in Switzerland . His professional career began in 2001 when FC Wangen bei Olten in the National League B . From 2002 to 2004 he was under contract with FC Basel , then with Concordia Basel for a year . Between 2005 and 2006 he played in Zurich for YF Juventus in the Challenge League , where he returned in January 2007 after an unsuccessful six months with FC Thun . He has been playing for FC La Chaux-de-Fonds since 2007 .

In June 2004 he played for the Togolese national team for the first time. Sènaya took part in the 2006 African Championship and played in all three games of the Togolese national team at the 2006 World Cup in Germany. So far he has played 19 international matches and scored two goals (as of June 5, 2006).

He is the younger brother of Yao Mawuko Sènaya (* 1979), who was also active as a football player in Switzerland.
